Biography
B O R N
1946, Philadelphia, PA
E D U C A T I O N
Bascove received her B.A. from the Philadelphia College of Art. For the past two decades her work has been regularly exhibited in New York and Paris. She is the editor of Where Books Fall Open: A Readeršs Anthology of Wit and Passion (2001), a 2002 Book Sense 76 Selection, and Stone and Steel: Paintings and Writings Celebrating the Bridges of New York City (1998) two collections of her paintings accompanied by anthologies of related writings, published by David R. Godine. Her work can be found in the collections of The Museum of the City of New York, The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Time Warner, the Oresman Collection, and the Musee of Cherbourg.
