Uptown Gallery - About the Gallery

Uptown Gallery, Inc. was established in 1972. The Gallery has been in the same location on Upper Madison Avenue in the heart of New York City's upscale art district for over 30 years—virtually surrounded by such venerable art institutions as the Whitney, the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Specializing in Contemporary American Realism, the Uptown Gallery currently represents 20 of the finest American artists working in this crucial genre—with an eclectic yet complimentary array of work ranging from painting and works on paper to prints, and constructions. With themes taken from reality, our artists convey their unique vision through still lifes, figurative works and landscapes. The Gallery also handles works by modern and contemporary masters in the lucrative secondary market.

As a complement to the quality of the art we represent, the Gallery maintains a full, in-house fine art services department offering creative conservation and archival framing, art restoration, and art installation services. We also employ some of the finest outside consultants to provide the highest level of service in these areas.
